Use of signal processing from telecommunications in MR imaging lead to fast frequency selective MR imaging method, which allows to distinguish among different tissues in dynamic MRI. The theoretical upper bound of spectral efficiency of ultra narrow band modulation techniques showed that the expectations of proponents of ultra narrow band modulation were unrealistic. The research program also showed that that, with the aid of contemporary personal computers and adequate professional programming, professional synthesis of integrated circuits parameters is feasible and can be done automatically.. The computer program developed for simulation is used in used in academic environment in more than 30 countries around the world. The mechanisms for measuring and capturing communication networks traffic, for analysis of switches load, and for modeling of networks were developed. The developed methods can give access to more realistic data to next generation network developers. The digital clock recovery circuit with automatic locked PLL at 80Gbps is the first clock recovery circuit of that kind. The method for automatic compensation of polarization dispersion in optical fibers was developed and successfully tested.
