Semiautomatic procedure for segmentation of biological tissues from results of magnetic resonance measurements: the procedure can be used for segmentation of hippocampus. It enables calculation of the volume of hippocampus. This is an important parameter for proper diagnostics of epileptic patients and can be in some cases decisive for proper operation. Three dimensional model of a human tooth with emphasis on a root canal for simulation of AC current flow through the tooth: this model enables simulation of current flow through the human tooth and thus gives a clearer picture of current conduction and better development of electronic devices measuring impedance of the tooth for determination (estimation) of the root canal length. Procedure for noninvasive determination of relative magnitude of muscle fibres of type 1: using the proposed TMG method it is possible to noninvasively measure the portion of muscle fibres of particular types. It can be used for monitoring the healing of neuro-muscular diseases as well as for monitoring the effects of training for top-level sportsmen.
