The results of the research program are reflected in the large number of citations, including citations of publications made after 1999, and in numerous invited lectures (see COBISS for F. Solina and A. Leonardis). The most important overall results are: 1) a complete approach to interpretation of range images described in the monography which was published by Kluwer in 2000 2) research in the area of visual learning and recognition which are based on subspace methods and which enable a direct view-based representation of the environment and objects and their subsequent recognition.
