The study of interference between Slovene, English, German, Hungarian, comparison of phrases and idioms. The results of the analysis of linguistic material have shown the ability to learn English and German from the point of view of the linguistic capacity of the student of Slovene origin - psycholinguistic and didactic aspects. Dialectologists have made in depth descriptions and studies of the Haloze dialect, the speech of Miklavž, the dialects of the Slovene borderlands, the Podjuna speech of Strojna in Slovene Carinthia, the vocabulary of the speech of Andovci in Porabje, the speech of Prlekija in Eastern Styria, the speech of Ceršak (at the Slovene-Austrian border), the dialect of Slovenske gorice, etc. External and internal causes for the emergence of Slovene interdialects were also examined. The study of Slovene history of literatureis of extreme importance for the European literary-scientific space, since it represents a qualitatively relevant contribution to the treasures of European history of literature. Research in literary reception has led to results which are significant not only in the Slovene language environment (the measured receptive development of the Slovene child which differs from the receptive development of children in other national/civilisational surroundings, similar to the fact that Slovene literature differs from the literatures of other nations), but also on a world-wide scale, since the empirical studies on such a vast sample (on a population who do not yet know how to read or write) as the one comprised in the research performed in the framework of the Programme Group are extremely few and hard to come by.
