Globally, the researchers realized the goals of their research in four steps: 1. In regard to the received funds: The group of 20 researchers was granted very few researching hours (the total of 1,947 hours), which sufficed for only 3 part-time researches thus depriving other researchers. The realization of our work took more than 7,500 research hours. 2. In regard to the quantity of results. The group produced the amount of published results which is above the average: 81 scientific articles, 28 scientific articles in monographic publications, 10 monographs, there were numerous participations at scientific conferences and the publications of results of these conferences. 3. In regard to the quality of the accomplished work: The results were published in the international and internationally comparable magazines with professional acclaim, such as the Bogoslovni vestnik (Theological Quarterly), or in the anthologies of the same level or quality. 4. In regard to the presented contents: The members of the group presented the basic ideas and values in Slovenia. They expanded the knowledge about the development of ideas among Slovenes, especially in the last hundred years. They analyzed the relevant streams which influenced this period in our history. The researchers' contribution is very important because the evaluation of our past was dominated by communist ideology. The group focused on this aspect in order to provide a more objective picture of the development of the stream of ideas in Slovenia and to enable international comparability. The special emphasis was placed on the Christianity and the role of the Church in these processes of Slovenian history. The published contributions confirm that our research is internationally comparable and thus has objective scientific value. The scientific publications confirm that the researchers were sucessfully involved in the international scientific community and won acclaim for their work as members or even leaders in scientific associations. M. MilĨinski was in several eminent associations for Asian studies, Juhant is the vice president of European Society for Catholic Theology and a member of other ethical and philosophical international associations. Benedik is a board member of the Central European Association of the Historians of the Church; Mlinar is a member of the council of Societas ethica, Stres is as a President of Justice and Peace Commission also a member of Justitia et pax, most of others are members of their professional associations. They could assert themselves successfully at international scientific conferences and clearly present the issues concerning ideas thus enabling the group to take its place in the international research community. The international acclaim of this research was made evident especially in the research Aufbruch and in the participation of the group members at international research meetings where they presented the research problems on equal terms. The member themselves organized more national and international symposiums where they presented the results of their research to the domestic and international public. The involvement in the international streams of research, the vast number of the research published abroad and presentations at conferences confirm that the members did their work successfully and proved their scientific competences.
