Results of the research programm will have, due to their infrastructural nature, also a considerable impact on the situation in Slovenia. As follows from many studies on the future technology development, these results will influence important high-tec activities in Slovenia such as - basic science (material research, new effects and technologies) what will influence important fields such as electronics, computer science, telecommunications and others - quality of life and healthcare (new diagnostics methods in medicine, improved controll over virus deseases and similar) - user frendly information society - enhancement of economic growth due to advanced products and technologies - improved environment protection (water resources, climate changes and others) that will enable further cooperation of Slovenia with others European countries As seen from point 2.1, applicative potential of results is also considerable, due to improved properties of realised microstrucutres. Results of the project already enabled an enhanced cooperation with Slovenian industry such as - RLS d.o.o., Ljubljana - PMS d.o.o., Ljubljana - Hipot Hyb d.o.o., Å entjernej Results of the project also enabled an adequate up-to-date education of young researchers and helped in completing their diploma, master and PhD thesis as well as for specialisants from universities, research institutions and companies. Results of the project also enabled new educational programms at elementary and PhD level of university study in various fields such as microsensor&actuator structures, micromachining, 3D microstructures, smart sensors, electronics, signal conditioning, microcontrollers and other.
