Achievements of the research programme are important for the development of Slovenia and for the development of Slovene-electrical industry. The achievements have the influence on the increase of competitive capacity of our national electrical industry, on the production of products with higher added value or products in the higher price class. The results of the programme are useful directly for the industry in the fields of electrical motors, electromechanical devices, switching technique, electrical protective devices, power electrics systems, electromagnetic stimulators in medicine, protection against electromagnetic radiations, construction of grounding and light conducting systems, measuring technique, electromagnetic materials research, etc. We must expose the following: - almost all programme tools for CAD of different electromagnetic devices, of grounding and light conducting systems based on the numerical calculation of electromagnetic field with finite element method, and it can be recognized as a common programme tools for the analysis and simulation of electromagnetic and heat conditions in the electromagnetic or electromechanical devices and systems, - programmes for the electromagnetic field distribution calculation for the construction of the elements of the switch cells and programmes for the modelling of the thermal problems in the case of short circuit on the high voltage transmission lines, - mathematical model for description of magnetic losses in magnetic stell in the case of any periodical magnetization and investigations of the anisotropy and mechanical tensions influences as a consequence of the mechanical material handling (punching, bending, ) on the magnetic properties of the material and in this way on the electromagnetic devices characteristics that have the direct useful value at quality electromagnetic devices design, - measuring methods and measuring yokes for the magnetic properties determination of the hard and soft magnetic material with massive and laminated samples, etc. Results of the programme and new knowledge which is obtaind from the research work, are constantly included in the pedagogical process. In this way, the quality of the electrotechnical study in Slovenia is improving. A lot of solutions or applications in our national industry are the result of the cooperation between the programme and the industry and they have already been transferred to industry. Connection of the programme with our electrical industry and reciprocal cooperation can be seen in the fact that in Slovenia practically there is no factory producing electromechanical devices which does not use our knowledge (DOMEL Železniki, INDRAMAT Železniki, BSH Nazarje, MEHANIZMI Lipnica, TSN Maribor, BARTEC-VARNOST Zagorje ob Savi, ELKOSTROJ ROGATEC Rogatec, ISKRA ERO Kranj, ISKRA STIKALA Kranj, ISKRA SEM Ljubljana, ROTOMATIKA Spodnja Idrija, ISKRA AVTOELEKTRIKA Šempeter, IDEAL SISTEMI Grajska vas). Our knowledge is also present on other fields connected with electrical industry, for example different projecting and researching institutions (IBE-Elektroprojekt Ljubljana, Itis, Implantibilna Tehnologija in Senzorji, d.o.o. Ljubljana). All this points out the applicability of the programme and its integration in Slovenian electrical industry.
