The program was oriented so that it made possible to include the most promising young researcher into the team. In this way the program took care for the long term continuation of the quality mathematical research in Slovenia. During the 5 years of the program, its members Blaž Zmazek and Boštjan Brešar finished their Ph:D.'s in 1999, and 2000, respectively. After the program already started its work, three more co-workers joint the program: dr. Petra Žigert (finished Ph:D. in 2001), Alenka Lipovec (finished Ph.D. in 2002), and Iztok Peterin (finished master thesis in 2001, currently working on his Ph.D. from the area of graph products). The discoveries of the program were in part presented at lectures and seminars at the graduate level. The program also had a positive influence on the quality of teaching of mathematics at the university level, indirectly it also had an influence on those areas of science, that use mathematics as a tool. Inside pure mathematics the program developed graph theory and kept its international level.
