Tourists in caves have a direct impact on cave climate and surfaces with which they come in contact. The key message of the talk was the evident necessity for regular monitoring of the tourist impact, which is reflected in infrastructure, lighting, climate and introduced biomass, because all these factors can irreversibly change the integrity of natural resources and cave ecosystem.
