From the project work, three applications for international project calls were prepared. ---Bilateral project with the USA: The most visible result of the project was successfully awarded international scholarship "Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions" (CC-LEGO-792305), which was acquired by dr. Ajasja Ljubetič. The research area will be the design of coiled-coils. ---ITN project: A multidisciplinary training network targeting the bacterial envelope for the development of new antimicrobials. A consortium of eight foreign research institutions and three companies and nine partner organizations.

COBISS.SI-ID: 6076954We have shown that protein / enzymes can be linked with coiled coils. Such multienzyme complexes retain enzymatic activities. By tethering the enzymes using coiled coil matrix, we improved the production of resveratrol in bacteria and mevalonate in yeasts. Results of these reaserch are relevant for industry; therefore we have protected our knowledge with filing patent applications.
