This was a keynote lecture of the project leader at the ASIALEX conference, which is the main lexicographic association in Asia. The lecture focused on the presentation of the lexicographic process first used by Slovenian researchers which is based on the automatic extraction of lexical data from the corpus, while the preparation of data for lexicographers also includes innovative methods such as crowdsourcing. Also discussed was the relevance of such a process for under-resourced languages and for language teaching/learning.
