The paper was presented at the World Economic History Congress, within the session on the historical aspects of introduction of cooperatives in broader context of social entrepreneurship models within capitalist economy. The author contributed to that discussion with Slovenian case of cooperativism at the end of 19. Century with emphasis on social and economic backgrounds and social strategies and praxis in risk management in the proces of economisation of Slovene society.
