Bilingual (in Slovenian and English language) inter-institutional exhibition presents the context and descriptions of musical instruments depicted in frescoes of the great hall (allegory of music and the scene with Rinaldo in the enchanted forest) and the great staircase (allegory of hearing) of Brežice Castle. The frescoes were commissioned by Count Ignaz Maria von Attems and were painted in the first two decades of the eighteenth century. All depicted music instruments are described, compared with other depictions and their sound presented by selected music pieces. The music of that time is put into the context of artistic commissions and music activities of the Attems family in a wider Styrian frame. Published was also a publication [COBISS.SI-ID 86606849] and it was reported on in various media (also on TV SLO within the cultural reports in the emission Opus [COBISS.SI-ID 39940653]. All co-authors performed a number of public guided tours.

COBISS.SI-ID: 39790893The radio broadcast Slovenska zemlja v pesmi in besedi (Slovenian soil in song and words) goes through the presentation of the first organ builders that were temporarily living in the territory of the present-day Slovenia and those who first settled here, to the establishment of the Marcus Göbl organ workshop. Moreover, the broadcast also presents three organ builders that used to run the workshop. In addition to Marcus Göbl it also provides a detailed presentation of the lives of Johann Georg Eisl and Joseph Alois Kutschera and of their organ opuses.

COBISS.SI-ID: 39554605A series of five concerts with historically informed performances was organized by the members of the programme group. Every one of the concerts presented music from a specific historical environment or a specific repertoire: French cantatas of the 18th century; airs from the opera Achille in Sciro by G. Arena (on the basis of the newly discovered copies from the Attems' castle in Slovenska Bistrica); English 17th-century music for two viols; chants of Hildegard of Bingen; music for two cornetts and two violins. The concerts were well received by the public and enjoyed favorable critiques.

Gregor Pompe, a member of the programme group, organized a successeful conference. A number of internationally known scholars discussed the specific questions of postmodernism in music, which have no tyet received a thorough investigation in Slovenian cultural space so far.
