The book presents the results of three projects conducted between 2013 and 2016. The key finding is that there is a labour market duality in Slovenia, similar to the cleavages emerging in the German labour market. The nature and intensity of these similar cleavages are framed by the wider context: Slovenia’s export sector is a supplier of the German export sector; the German system is anchored in the centre of the European (and global) economy, Slovenian is located on its (semi) periphery.
