We presented our laboratory-developed ligands for Rh(I)- and Ru(II)-catalyzed reducion. Our new series of P-stereogenic diphospine and sulfamoylaminoamine ligands based respectively on Knowles’ DiPAMP and Wills’ 3C-[Teth-TsDPEN-RuCl], exhibit higher efficiency in the reduction of a wide variety of olefins or ketones. Furthermore, new nonclassical P-stereogenic 5- and 6-membered benzophosphacycles which are potential precursors to new ligands have been prepared by us and their syntheses was presented.
