The paper at the Congress of teachers of string instruments presented the historical flow of the Czech violin influences in the Slovene Lands that began to appear towards the end of the 18th century. Those influences would dominate in the Slovene Lands until the beginning of the Second World War. In the second half of the 19th century students of the Prague conservatory started to immigrate to the Slovenian territory and were teaching in different Slovenian towns.
