The publication related to GoMapMan application, written by researchers involved in the project (Kristina Gruden, Špela Baebler and Živa Ramšak) was in 2015 selected as an exceptional achievement by the Slovenian Research Agency. This has allowed the opportunity of introducing the work to a wider scientific community in december 2015, under the frame of Odlični v znanosti (Biotechnics), which was also published on Videolectures portal.
F.18 Transfer of new know-how to direct users (seminars, fora, conferences)
The project group members have presented their achievements at several scientific meetings. Among others Kristina Gruden had plenary lecture at 16th Triennial Meeting of the Virology Section of the European Association of Potato Research , Špela Baebler held an invited lecture on a newly developed data analysis tool, qPCRcalculator at the qPCR and dPCR conference, while Kristina Gruden held an invited lecture on systems biology approaches to study plant-virus interactions at the University of Potsdam (Germany).

They participated at Plant Fascination Day (May 2015) and Researcher's Night (October 2015), where they presented their work at stands and in for of a short video [COBISS.SI-ID 3613775]. They also participated in the preparation of a TV-show on the role of systems biology in agriculture on national television [COBISS.SI-ID 3305551]. Špela Baebler presented her work in the in the series of popular science lectures “Science on the street” [COBISS.SI-ID 3434575].

COBISS.SI-ID: 3305551Kristina Gruden has in 2015 received the state Zois’s award for exceptional achievements in systems biology and molecular biology. The award represents an important step in recognition of successful research of the group in the area of plant immune signaling and its potential impact in agriculture. This achievement represents a recognition of succesful work of the group in the area of understanding of plant defense signalling and thus represents the basis of this project.
E.01 National awards
Kristina Gruden is an active member of different international professional associations. She is an Editorial board member of internationally renewed journals “BMC Plant Biology” (since 2011) and “Molecular genetics and genomics” (since 2014) and section editor of “Frontiers in Physiology” (since 2012). She was recently elected as a new member of the Federation of European Biochemical Society (FEBS) fellowship committee. She is also a member of Management Board in FP7 project ISBE (2012- ), an ESFRI based project setting up European infrastructure for Systems biology.
