With the result of the project, in 2015 we implemented new features and upgraded existing ones. Module to support telephone surveys and module of multiple languages surveys were additionally upgraded. The partner organisation IJS had continued their work on algorithms with use of language technologies in development of web questionnaires. The upgrades were represented in the section New functionalities on the 1KA web site. From year 2007 dr. Vasja Vehovar has been developing a toll for online data collection – 1KA. The tool enables the user-friendly implementation of complex surveys and is not restricted only to web questionnaires but provides support for data entry, telephone surveys and mail surveys. The application is available at http://www.1ka.si (Slovenian version), while English version is available at http://english.1ka.si. The toll already has over 34.000 registered users and it has already been used for implementation of more than 68.000 surveys for different research purposes. 1KA is also integrated in the AAI identification system and is moving to public ARNES cloud, where broad and stable use will be possible.

Anže Sendelbah presented a conference paper titled »Investigating respondent multitasking in web surveys with paradata« at the annual AAPOR conference. The presentation introduced two new paradata-based measures of respondent multitasking in web surveys. These two new approaches were tested in a pilot study. Analysis of paradata showed that 56% of all respondents were engaged in some form of secondary activities while responding to the web questionnaire. Respondent multitasking was also positively associated with item nonresponse.
