This is the first analysis of late antique window glass in Slovenia. At the settlement of Tonovcov grad near Kobarid window glass was found in the layers of use and destruction of the late antique house and church complex. The most interesting discovery was a large number of carefully cut and grozed geometrical shapes (triangles and parallelograms) which must have formed one or more windows in the nave of the main church at Tonovcov grad. They represent the predecessor of stained (painted) glass windows.

Traces of prehistoric land use and field distribution in the Karst were identified using airborne laser scanning imaging. Tey mostly include cairns and cairnfields, stock management structures such as funnels, stables, stalls and remnants of enclosed paths. We also identified the remains of regular field distribution. Te traces testify to an intensively shaped landscape that most likely dates to the Bronze Age. Te next major transformation, which shaped the modern and present-day landscape, has taken place only in the last millennium and shows no continuity with the previous one.
