Panel presented different perspectives on the animal in cultural heritage of the different national traditions, based on the ethnological, zoo-folkloristic, anthropological and philosophical insights. Deriving from ritual songs, it points out the question of closeness among the Slaves in folk songs and argues the need of further cooperation. The paper states that after nearly two centuries of the strongest awareness of closeness between the Slaves, this need has been overlooked in the last decades.
