The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG offers the Mercator Programme to enable Germany's research universities to invite highly qualified scientists and academics working abroad to complete a DFG funded stay at their institutes. Prof. dr. Jože Korelc has received Mercator Visiting Professorship for the period of 2015-2019 at an Institut für Kontinuumsmechanik, Leibniz Universität Hannover for his scientific work on a field of automatization of numerical modeling. Prof. Korelc has in period 2015-2017 within the Mercator program organized series of lectures and seminars at European universities: KORELC, Jože. Short Course on Automation of Computational Modeling , 12.-13. November 2015, 19-20 November 2015, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany. Hannover, 2015 KORELC, Jože. With Automation Towards the Certified Numerics : lecture, 16.11.2015, Technische Universität Braunschweig. Braunschweig, 2015 KORELC, Jože. With Automation Towards the Certified Numerics : lecture, 25.11.2015, Universität Duisburg-Essen, Germany. Duisburg-Essen, 2015 KORELC, Jože. Advanced topics in automation of numerical modelling : short Course at Graduate School MUSIC, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany

COBISS.SI-ID: 8001889The invention relates to the implementation of the contact insulation of façades system, containing specific thermal insulation plates with vapour equalization notches, with possibilities to equalize vapor pressure within the closed facade, and at the same time establish the surface of a steady flow of moisture through the outer structural assemblies. Problem is mainy presented in cases of façade layers which containa a lot of moisture (construction moisture by capillarity with peripheral walls, floor or rain water or other moisture) or when is continuation of façade works connected with lack of construction time and layers are not properly dried.

COBISS.SI-ID: 7025249Jože Lopatič and Primož Može members of editorial board and the organisers of Annual meetings of structural engineers of Slovenia. These meetings are the main events in Slovenia, where civil engineers from practice could get informed about the achievements in research and development and share knowledge. There were between 90 and 200 participants from Slovenia and some European countries, which presented from 22 up to 36 papers annually. Invited lecturers were from Germany, France, Sweden, Slovakia, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Serbia, Croatia and FYR Macedonia. Papers are primarily dealing with building structures, bridges, earthquake engineering, geotechnical engineering, building materials, experimental analysis and numerical analysis of structures.
F.18 Transfer of new know-how to direct users (seminars, fora, conferences)
COBISS.SI-ID: 287424512This Manual represents a completion of a long and successful campaign on the introduction of Eurocodes in Slovenia, which included several members of the group. Members of the group are also the authors of parts of the Manual. The Manual has 1100 pages, covers all types of structures, includes numerical examples and is a unique publication of this kind in Europe. Active work of group members in various committees for standardization (membership is stated in 7) has resulted in a successful transition to Eurocodes standards in Slovenia.
F.31 Development of standards
COBISS.SI-ID: 246638848The client, ArceloMittal, put a new product on the market – biggest hot rolled angle profiles and wanted to obtain information on the buckling resistance of structural elements made of such angles. This paper presents the methodology and procedure of residual stresses measurement in the large angle profiles. The results of the measurements as well as the definition of the general distribution of residual stress in the crosssection are presented. The general distribution represents a kind of unfavorable envelope of the measurements in the range of standard deviation that is the input data for the numerical parametric, geometrical and material nonlinear, analysis, the results of which are the buckling curves for angle profiles. The results show that the results of this study give more favourable results than the European standard EN 199311 and the corresponding improvements will be proposed.
