The contribution analyses Christian mystical tradition in Medieval and Baroque era in which we encounter relevant philosophical and theological explications of concept of peace. Here the concept of the socalled "inner" or "spiritual" peace comes to the front. In accordance with intercultural theology of Catalan religiologist Raimon Panikkar it becomes clear that such concept of peace is, ontologically speaking, before any "outer", socialpolitic exposition of peace which dominates in the most of the contemporary sociological discourse on this problem.
