The innovation relates to design of a measurement chamber which enables determination of cyanobacteria concentration and their morphological and physiological traitsaccording to method described in our patent application EP 15161547.3. Chamber enables measurements in laminar water-flow at the location with optical activity of flurorescence sensors.

COBISS.SI-ID: 8331641The method and device system according to the invention allows the maintenance of particles (cyanobacteria) in suspension due to the unidirectional flow with no interference with their structure. The slow mixing in the sensing chamber transforms the highly turbulent flow in a steady unidirectional flow that passes the detection system. Photodiodes detect the average signal additionally carrying the additional information from the area of maximal detection on the morphological and physiological characteristics of micro-particles.
