The invention relates to a fluorometric method for determination of the presence of organisms, organic and inorganic micro-particles in suspension able to absorb radiation of specific wavelengths with the consequent emission of energy, with the simultaneous sensing of their amount, their basic characteristics as size, shape and physiological traits.

The electrolytic cells power supply provides optimum electrolysis. Adjustable constant current source with a modulated commutation eliminates electrode deposit. In conductometry mode conductivity of the electrolyte is measured. This data, together with the supply voltage, current and temperature are used to control, by algorithm for individual types of pairs of electrodes, the power supply operation. The power supply also controls the mechanical system for cleaning the electrodes.
