The presentation first provided a brief cross-cultural comparison of benchmarks on mobile internet and smart phone adoption with a focus on users’ socio-demographics differences. Then, an illustrative set of most consistent findings on design and usability aspects of mobile phones was discussed. Lastly, an informative account of research on mobile phones in terms of the convergence of existing and emergence of new usage forms was given.
