The phenomenon of chivalry is one of the cornerstones of Western identity. In the Slovenian territory, this subject remained largely neglected for a very long time, as only a handful of researchers dealt systematically with the history of nobility and warfare in the medieval and early modern period. There has been a major breakthrough in recent years, however. The exhibition represented a synthesis of the latest findings in historiography, art history, archaeology and other related branches. It was also received warmly by the public.

COBISS.SI-ID: 267592448There are nearly 75 km of material kept in ten Slovenian archives, an outstanding legacy of the written cultural heritage from the 9th century to the present day. The exhibition, divided into 16 sections, represented the first ever interinstitutional collaboration of such kind. The selection of most aesthetically striking and historically important documents together with an overview of the surviving archival material depicts not only the visual appeal of the written heritage but also reveals all the most relevant categories of archival documents while shedding light onto dramatic events, important processes and leading personalities of the wider Slovenian region.

Zato v okviru predloga projekta predstavljamo računalniško orodje za diseminacijo rezultatov naravoslovnih analiz PKD.
