Mirjam Frohlich is a leading author of a chapter, entitled: ‘Autologous cell therapies for bone tissue regeneration’, in which the approaches, procedures, and clinical use of cell products for bone tissue regeneration are presented. In one of the subchapters, the importance of vascularization of tissue implants is presented, as well as the potential of endothelial cells derived from adipose tissue for vascularization purposes.

At the Annual Spine Experts Group Meeting and Slovenia 2012 Spine Symposium, she had a paper on the use of adipose derived stem cells (ASC) for purposes of intervertebral disk regeneration, focusing on capability of ASC to differentiate to chondrogenic phenotype.
She is a co author of a review paper entitled ‘Cell sources for nucleus pulposus regeneration’, in which the potential of adipose derived stem cells for regeneration of nucleus pulposus tissue is discussed.
