The exhibition presented oeuvres by two painters from Maribor: Ida Brišnik Remec (1941- ) and Marjan Remec (1937–2009). They both graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts under the supervision of Gabriel Stupica, and then lived and worked in Maribor. Marjan's oeuvre is divergent, distunguished by fantastic figural forms and brilliant watercolors; Ida dedicated much of her work depicting plants in extravagant magnitudes and picture cuts. Marjan and Ida Remec were among the first Slovenian painters who used acrylic paints.
