School of Neurology is a regular educational program at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana, Department of Neurology. In 2012 we have organized a series of trainings and lectures on the following topics: - May, 2012: Transitional Neurological Disorders (Organizing Committee: Gal Granda, Bogdan Lorber, Zvezdan Pirtošek, Maja Trošt, Anka Žekš) - June, 2012: Parkinson’s Disease and Other Movement Disorders (Organizing Committee: Maja Trošt, Zvezdan Pirtošek, Anka Žekš, Nina Zupančič Križnar, Dejan Georgiev), - November, 2012: Dementias (Organizing Committee: Milica Gregorič Kramberger, Nina Zupančič Križnar, Maja Trošt, Dejan Georgiev, Anka Žekš, Zvezdan Pirtošek).

In March 2012, as a part of the Week of the Brain activities the Department of Neurology at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana organized a School of Neuroscience, where Slovenian experts presented to the general public what neuroscience is, what it can tell us about the brain and various neuroscientific research methods. The following topics were covered: - The brain through a brief history of their study (Zvezdan Pirtošek) - Cognitive Neuroscience (Grega Repovš) - Functional methods for studying the brain - cognitive electrophysiology (Dreo Jurij, Bon Jurij, Dejan Georgiev), functional magnetic resonance imaging, transcranial magnetic stimulation, deep brain stimulation (Blaž Koritnik, Jurij Bon, Maja Trošt) - Neurobiology (Maja Bresjanac, Marko Kreft)

The fifth educational day on Continuous Dopaminergic Stimulation (CDS) was held on13th of April 2012, at the Department of Neurology, Ljubljana. The CDS education Ljubljana is accredited by EACCME (European Accreditation Council for Continuous Medical Education).
