D.01 Chairing over/coordinating (international and national) projects
COBISS.SI-ID: 27122215For producing Nd-Fe-B magnets with no HRE in the grain boundaries we used a Zn93Al7 alloy and Zn metal. SPS was used as the consolidation method. The amount of low-melting-point alloy or Zn was varied to achieve the highest possible density with the minimal loss of active magnetic material. We achieved 98% density. The Br and BHmax increase up to 40 wt. % and then start to decrease. The coercivity was not affected when varying the amount of binder.
