This article presents the results of preliminary geotechnical investigations with the aim to analyses possibilities of drying and improvement of dredged mud from the Port of Koper for use in geotechnical engineering as raw material.

This presentation provided an overview of the most important fields in the construction industry where the reuse of waste is possible and promising, both from the point of view of the solution of technical and environmental problems, as well as from the legislative point of view.
