In the professional book are presented the results of archaeological research on the site of Brezje near Turnišče. The oldest settlement on the site dates from the end of the Early Copper Age and demonstrates a blending of formal and decorational elements at the end of Lasinja culture. The site is important as one of the Copper Age sites on the territory between Beltinci and Turnišče where the largest concentration of Copper Age sites in Slovenia was discovered.

COBISS.SI-ID: 268740096In the framework of an exhibition, exhibition catalogue and the archaeological trail, under the coordination of Anton Velušček and in collaboration with the Regional Museum in Kočevje, was presented the archaeological site of Spaha. The area was settled in the period from the 5th millennium BC to the period of Turkish raids in the early modern period. Most interesting are the Neolithic and Copper Age settlements when the site was located on the area where the stones for the production of querns were quarried and where they searched in the vicinity for the Copper ore. The site is of extreme importance for the explanation of the prehistoric economy and the organization of technological processes.
