The book presents the results of the archaeological analyses of the finds from the site of Spaha in Southern Slovenia. Analyses of pottery demonstrated the similarities to the sites in Central and Eastern Slovenia, the analyses of faunal remains the subsistence strategies, the analysis of stone tools and stone sources in the vicinity enabled the formulation of a hypothesis, that the people in the past settled on this place to exploit the sources of stone suitable for the fabrication of querns.

The major point of interest at the site presents the standardized production of pottery – numerous pots of the same form and volume were produced. A larger number of them were buried in a larger pit creating the oldest pottery depot known from the territory of Slovenia.
