This lecture presented contemporary theories of interculturality in Latin America, and related applied projects of national policies for indigenous population in some Latin American countries, especially those with a higher porcentage of native population and a longer tradition of social policies for indigenous people. Based on some concrete examples, the author explained the key theoretical and political gaps of 'intercultural strategies', which contemporary Latin American governments are turning in favor of the new homogenization, while global capitalism uses it as a new development apology.
