International postgraduate study program European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations is a result of the program group’s cooperation with European and African universities with the support of an elite program for international cooperation and exchange of students and professors in higher education, Erasmus Mundus. European Commission recognised this program as unique mainly because of its interdisciplinary and intercultural perspective. The study program is focused on human rights, democratic values, welfare state and labour market – challenges faced by EU member states as well as the rest of the world. Participating universities: University of Nova Gorica (Slovenia), University of Oldenburg (Germany), University of Stavanger (Norway), University of South Bohemia (Czech Republic), Ahfad University for Women (Sudan), Makerere University Kampala (Uganda) and Mbarara University of Science & Technology (Uganda). The director of this study program is Prof Dr Marina Lukšič Hacin (http://www.emmir.org/faculty/course-directors/). Other members of the project group are also members of the Slovenian teachers' team within this study program.
