COBISS.SI-ID: 20618726In time of economic downturn the importance of industrial policy is being revised. European counties are rethinking their industrial policies, that will focus on advantages of a country, sectoral orientation and analytical -diagnostically approach in managing development of entrepreneurship. Slovenia should- as the Netherlands did- focus on limiting subventions and introduce this analytical - diagnostically approach, however with competent governmental officers, that plan, implement and control measures of industrial policies, that would focus on industry and services. Government should refrain from solely giving subventions and provide organisation of missing markets, positive externalities and improved corporate governance.
