In the invited lecture the recent results on the synthesis of Fe70Pd30 nanostructures were presented, form the magnetic shape memory point of view. Since the last requires a precise composition control, for achieving the required crystal structure pulse plating was presented. The required face cantered cubic structure which is the basis for the MSM effect was obtained via appropriate heat treatment. The nanostructures were further functionalized with model drugs paracetamol and rhodamine B day, and drug release profiles were discussed.

COBISS.SI-ID: 25798951A kinetic study of the mass transport and kinetic parameters during the electrodeposition of Fe-Pd alloy into porous alumina template was evaluated and plating conditions for Fe70Pd30 synthesis were proposed. The as-deposited face cantered tetragonal crystal structure was converted to face cantered cubic structure, which is the basis for the magnetic shape memory effect. Prepared nanostructures were further functionalized with a SiO2 which increases the field of applications in biomedicine. A clear step forward smart magnetic nano-carries was done.
