Canted antiferromagnetism on a nanodimensional spherical surface geometry was investigated on manganese carbonate MnCO3 small hollow nanospheres and compare to the bulk MnCO3.

COBISS.SI-ID: 25904935In the collaboration with the KBSI institute from Korea hollow nanospheres of MnCO3 and MnSiO3 have been synthesised. Their magnetic properties have been investigated in details and compared to the bulk systems.
B.03 Paper at an international scientific conference
COBISS.SI-ID: 16341593Electrical, magnetic, and thermal properties of the delta-FeZn10 phase in the zinc-rich domain of the Fe-Zn system have been described. In addition, the team members of the project J1-4070 were mentors of three completed PhD (the leader, JD) and altogether 7 graduate works. All of them are from the solid state physics and at least partially cover the proposed research and goals of this project.
