COBISS.SI-ID: 25904935Electrical, magnetic, and thermal properties of the deltaFeZn10 phase in the zincrich domain of the FeZn system have been described. In addition, the team members of the project J14070 were mentors of four completed PhD (the leader, JD) and altogether 15 graduate works. All of them are from the solid state physics and at least partially cover the research and goals of this project.

COBISS.SI-ID: 2467172In a lecture given to postgraduate students at the Institute of Experimental Physics, Slovak Academy of Sciences, we described a magnetic memory effect, explained why it occurs, in which substances one can expect it and how it can be explore in order to store a digital information in a thermal memory cell.
B.05 Guest lecturer at an institute/university
COBISS.SI-ID: 16644441The leader of the project and team members organized a threedays international scientific meeting at which more than 60 researchers reported the results of basic research and applications of complex metallic alloys. More information about the meeting and the scientific programme can be found at www.eucmac.eu
B.01 Organiser of a scientific meeting
COBISS.SI-ID: 27304487The project leader had invited lecture at the ETH in Zurich. The physical properties and stability of quasicrystals and complex intermetallics have been explained. As a possible application of these materials the principles of thermal memory cell was described.
