The main aim of this paper is to evaluate the implementation processes of the policy measures and financial support for the enhancement of the state's support of the public interest and public policy for sport and sport activities of its citizens at the national level, compared to the fundamental EU normative acts. It is shown that the level of compliance between both political levels is high, but only from the normative, not also from the every-day implementation perspective.
