Landforms are important element of geographic classification, typification, and regionalization. The number of methods and indicators for determination, analysis and classification of surface morphological units at different scales has strongly increased with the development of GIS. With regard to spatial joining continuous and discontinuous classification could be distinguished and with regard to values and its limits global and regional classification could be distinguished. In the article we present the method of regional continuous classification and test its suitability in Slovenia.
