The meeting has discussed the problems and possible solutions to some of the challenges related to district development. The round table took experience and theory a step further by including workshops where the participants will develop the basic framework for projects using a couple of selected cases from Slovenia. The participants have worked with drawing up plans and developing a set of parameters that need to be reviewed for development plans that are based on existing socio-economic realities, and gained understanding of competitive strengths and weaknesses and an understanding of what is needed to create ‘marketable’ products.

Group of authors have presented the project with the main goal of the evaluation and publication of the material culture. The main research questions to be answered are concerning town’s establishment, development phases and chronology. The research is based on the evaluation of the already researched locations within the town with the goal of reconstruction of the cross sections of the town’s stratigaphy that will make basis for the support of the archival sources and thus the basis for the reconstruction of different aspects of town’s history.
