The conference paper examines the perception of nature and of man-nature relationship which is deeply marked by the collective memory of man’s domination over nature. The positive contribution of Christian theological eco-feminism is of utmost importance, as it discloses and breaks down the prejudice of the model of human superiority over nature by means of a critical historical overview of individual religious traditions. The paper focuses on the question of ecological interdependence and women’s identity, gender hierarchy and human-nature relationship within Christian religious sphere.

We proceed out of the assumption that the ethics – moral philosophy – should ask itself what is the impact of the new knowledge on it that it could develop framework for regulating research and educational work and give its part on the field of complex encounter between natural and social sciences as well as humanities.
