The lecture aimed to show the importance of distinguishing different forms of perpetration and paricipation in criminal law. By the use of case-law it has been proven that deciding for specific form of perpetration or participation can greately influence sentencing, in some case it can even decide, whether defendant will be liable at all. In this respect a proper distinction of forms of perpetration and participation is a crucial practical question, which needs to be adressed with reliable theoretical tools.
