In the present paper a methodology for developing turbulence model in porous media is presented. The mathematical model bases on the classical Navier-Stokes equations for pure fluid flow. To consider turbulence in porous media first modeling of turbulence (time variation) and then modeling of transport phenomena in porous media (space variation) has to be performed. The time averaging and space averaging are applied to the governing equations, where for the numerical solution of the obtained set of equations the boundary domain integral method is used.
