We presented our work on a 15N-labeled 37-nt hairpin model RNA which mimics helix 1 of the full length hHAR1F RNA. We performed the resonance assignment using 15N-HSQC, HNN-COSY and NOESY spectra. The 37-nt RNA imino proton signal pattern in the NOESY spectrum was compared to the pattern of the full length hHAR1F RNA construct. We studied the dynamic properties of the 37-nt RNA construct with the help of 15N-relaxation NMR. The fast internal motions in the 37-nt RNA construct were estimated by the measurement of longitudinal and transverse relaxation rates, along with heteronuclear NOEs.
