Chicken breast samples were homogenized and four fractions. CoQ10 in cell fractions was analyzed with TLC and HPLC/MS. CoQ10 in different fractions was normalized to Cholesterol concentrations. Our results show, that most of the administrated CoQ10 is allocated inside of cell membranes. Observed variations in CoQ10 distribution indicate that supplementary ubiquinon is mainly built in cell membranes and not in mitochondria, which was against our expectations and indicates how important is the antioxidant role of Q10 in a body
