Article based on work performed in 2010 published in 2011. We reported on the first polymer composite based on MoS2 nanotubes. The isotactic polypropylene was selected due to simple, cheap and environmentaly friendly process. MoS2 nanotubes contribute to faster crystallization of the polymer. The temperature of crystalization increases with concentration of nanotubes. The desired monoclinic phase of iPP is preserved.

Article based on work performed in 2010 published in 2011. We reported on the first synthesis of MoS2 nanotubes from Mo6S4I6 compound. These nanotubes have diameter below 100 nm and show metallic electric conductance dependent on defect concentration, although bulk MoS2 is semiconductor.
