Charge transport in thin nanowire bundles is most convincingly described as tunnelling through nanowire segments, which behave as Tomonaga-Luttinger liquids. In some cases this behaviour is modified by environmental Coulomb blockade due to defects or nanowire deformation.

We used the attachment of MoSI nanowires and gold nanoparticles in solution for self-assembly of networks. The edge length distribution in the network is characteristic of scale invariance. Such networks are known for resistance to failure and fast signal processing and are particularly interesting for nanoelectronics.
