COBISS.SI-ID: 2338695The aim of the integrated presentation concept of Heaters for Hot Feelings, the installation by sculptor Mirko Bratuša at the Pavilion of the Republic of Slovenia at the 54th Venice Biennial, one of the world’s most important visual arts exhibition, was to express cultural identity in a highly recognizable way. The innovative concept of the installation (featuring artificial, high-technology anthropomorphic and biomorphic bodies made of an archaic material, the clay) allowed a metaphorical presentation of the structure of contemporary society as a network of mutual social, economic and natural co-dependencies.
